A wonderful Science Week at Dropmore. Some highlights included:

• Farm animals - Mr Fearon, from Castleman's Farm bought a calf, lamb and chicks on to our school playground for the children to meet. He also held a Q&A.
• Ice cream making - Who knew you could make ice cream with just cream, rock salt, ice and some food bags!
• Planting - The whole school took part in a large planting session on the school grounds. A big thank you to Mrs Gloster and Mrs Joy for helping us.
• A school trip - Year 2 went to visit the Portman Burtley Farm.
• Science Challenge Day - A fun day involving an aeroplane competition, experiments in class and a recycled catwalk.
